Life is a Beach: San Francisco in June

With the help of my beloved family (and their birthday checks) I was able to purchase myself a long overdue Digital EOS Canon XSi (check the specs here). The thing is a gorgeous beast and my 9th grade photo class knowledge of f-stops and aperture are proving rusty. While I am no Ansel Adams (yet), I thought it proper to take some pictures of my neighborhood on a particularly sunny day. So here's a slice of my life: North Beach, San Francisco. It's unique, it's diverse, it's home.
